Indian movies send sex meaningless issues?
As I was watching music channel, I come across the main song from new movie ‘hey baby’, stared akshay kumar, fardeen khan and ritesh deshmukh. Still remember they dance with many HOT actresses in this song? As a guy first time I saw the video clip I felt very happy to see a lot of HOT actresses dancing. But as I watch it over and over again, I feel offended and embarrassed to watch it in front of my parents! Did you see how MALAIKA ARORA sways her AS$ in the first part or how RIYA SEN show her half naked breast!! I mean like ‘men you need some clothes’!! What is happening to bollywood? I love modern stories which are being made, and not the same dancing-around-the-tree type of movies. I love movies such as; BLACK, RANG DE BASANTI OR EVEN GURU!But to show your arousing body repeatedly while dancing, what do you think about the impact to Indian society? i not yet finish, there is a continuation check it out!
Yeah, someone should really pour gasoline on those women and set them ablaze for having the nerve to show their arousing bodies and half naked breasts.

Seriously, man... I know this aversion to nudity and lasciviousness is a cultural thing, but you men need to stop being so puritanical (and tyrannical) and cut your women some slack.

Eversince the molestation incident happened in the JUHU locality of Mumbai on the new year’s eve, newspapers have been flooding with articles on a variety of point of views ranging right from what happened to how the reporters witnessed the incidents to what should be done with the culprits. Every person has turned into a self-appointed expert yieliding out statements that are earning not just accolades from the female section of the society but also filling up the otherwise redundant pages of some of the most popular newspapers. Well, obviously, when every one is giving their bit, how can I lag behind. As a mumbaikar, even I have an opinion and would be only glad to share with my loyal yahoo friends. Yes, EXAGERRATION is the word. No, not for the reaction given to the incident but the whole hypocritic and convinient one sided approach adopted by the so called concerned people of mumbai. WHY? well, because that suits them. I mean, everyone is behind what happened, why isn'nt anyone TALKING ABOUT why it happened? To say that the girls in our society need to improve their dressing sense will be an understatement as today, the problem seems to be not just the way women have chosen to dress but also the perception they have happily allowed themselves to be a part of. The biggest culprit here is undoubtedly the new breed of HINDI FILMS, where even today, closeup shots of the breasts of an england based tourist is an attraction in any third grade hindi film meant to attract audiences occupying the front rows of what we call as "stall area" in the film theatres. I mean one has to sit in the theatres with the audiences and watch the way the audiences react to a song like "BIDI JALAILE" from the film "OMKARA" picturised on the actress "BIPASHA BASU" to know what I am pointing at. I am a woman myself and I really want to understand what the producers mean when they call a certain song as an "ITEM NUMBER" and make all the good looking girls dance on such numbers wearing the most skimpiest of clothes. They have even termed these girls as "ITEM GIRLS", how sexist can that get?

Ironically, the incident in question took place at two places on the new year's night and at both these places, inside the hotel venue, we had sexiest girls of "BOLLYWOOD" shaking themselves to some hot numbers from hindi films..this include the likes of "BIPASHA BASU", "RAKHI SAWANT" AND "KOINA MITRA". To cut the long rant short, what do you expect from a society with men of suppressed libidos jeering and leering at women as "ITEM GIRLS". Is'nt this clearly pointing fingers at the demeaning way in which women are being percieved in our society? Women, surprisingly don't seem to mind because we have long ago equated "burning bras" with "WOMEN
EMANCIPATION". Does it make sense to think that indian men will compartmentalise women in their minds as "ITEM GIRLS" and "NOT-TO TOUCH" types? What will be encouraged in a society through a powerful source like media will be applied to all. Any society which has men looking at women as sex objects or "ITEM GIRLS" will have men not differentiating between women on the roads and women they see on the big screen. Infact, the women on the roads are far more accessible for them to be able to translate their fabtasies than an actress on screen. No, I am not defending such men. Our law is equally impotent when it comes to tightening screws on such molesters and probably that is why they are not deterred. But what about the flip side of the issue. The chemistry between a man and a woman is GOD given. We are inviting men by wearing clothes which only read "hey, look at me, am I not sexy!" but also want them to get this message that "beware! you can only look but will not be able to touch me!" According to psychiatrists, this sort of a behaviour challenges the male ego and throws an invisible challenge at them which they "HAVE" to overcome. if you are in a way inviting this sort of a treatment then sorry but you can't afford to complain. As they say, "you can't have your cake and eat it too.?
Even after reading numerous articles on this issue,i never happened to come across such a brilliant detailed write up like the one u gave here...brilliant...hands up to u dear frnd..

U r right completely...fingers point back to we women...

But do you think actresses will stop doing all this stuff anyday..They are just thinking how to lessen what they have now...

Also, dressing properly really matters..I'm not asking all women to wear parda..but still they themselves can opt to dress modestly...those who find no wrong in wear such things, should also find no wrong in getting molested..

The sad part is that such because some dirty women increase libido of men, poor girls fall in as their prey..I don't know what can be done about it other than self equipping women to defend men...

"Item number" is a term commonly used in Bollywood to describe a catchy, upbeat dance song in an Indian movie that has no relevance to the plot of the film. It is used like western movies to excite movie goers and enjoy the movie even though there is no plot and the movie stinks.

I guess you could call the women that perform these numbers "Item Girls", it seems anyone can define something like that what they want and be correct. The item I want to comment on is the behavior that is blamed for this "teasing" which is what it is called in the West.

I believe everyone has the power to control their actions. If women want to 'tease' and men react to this 'tease' then they have chosen the path they want to take. I believe it is wrong but it is also human nature. So, if women choose to 'tease' and men choose to not control their urges then they must suffer the consequences of their choices. No on is to blame but themselves...a crime is a crime.
